Our Shop at Our Space

“Our Shop” is a shop for care experienced young people at Our Space in Birkenhead.

It offers substantially discounted food and other goods. Some goods will be available free of charge. These include personal hygiene items and seasonal gifts.

All food items will cost 10p each and household cleaning items are 25p each. Up to 15 items can be bought each week.

The shop is generously supported by Neo Community and the Core Project in Birkenhead.

Our Shop aims to help young people with budgeting and independence. It is hoped it will also reduce the use of food banks by Wirral care leavers.

We hope Our Shop will be viewed as a retail space by our care leavers, and not a charity.
