What is Contextual Safeguarding?

Contextual Safeguarding is an approach to understand, and respond to, young people's experiences of significant harm when away from their families and outside the home. 

The Wirral Safeguarding Children Board (WSCB) would like to hear your views and experiences about the issues that you face when you are out and about in Wirral and the places in Wirral where you feel unsafe.  This will help them to understand the contextual safeguarding risks and focusing on the areas identified, help you to feel safer.
