My Voice 2025 Writing Competition

31 January 2025

Voices 2025, the creative writing competition for children in care care and care leavers, is now open!

Voices is the only creative writing competition specifically for care experienced children and young people and has been run by Coram Voice since 2016.  It offers you a unique opportunity to share your creativity, celebrate your talents, and reflect on what care experience means to you.

The theme for 2025 is ‘My Voice’, chosen to empower young people and place their voices at the heart of Coram Voice's 50th Anniversary celebrations.

Entries must be 500 words or under and can be submitted in written form or video format including poems, short stories, raps, songs or newspaper articles. There are four age categories: primary school (4-10), lower secondary school (age 11-14), upper secondary school (age 15-17) and care leavers (age 18-25).

Entries close on Sunday 23 March 2025.
