Creative Opportunity for Young People
Article 39 children's rights charity are putting together a zine (a small magazine) for their annual Change through Advocacy project. This year’s theme, ‘Moments of Gold,’ explores moments of hope, support, and empowerment - even in the most difficult times.
- Are you aged 26 or under
- Do you have experience of:
- Being helped by an advocate or trying to get help from one; or
- Being in care; or
- Living in an institutional setting (e.g., mental health unit, prison)
- Can you attend at least three online Zoom meetings throughout March and April
If so, they'd love to hear from you!
The roles available are:
✏️ Editors – Shape the zine, gather stories, and put it all together
🎨 Illustrators/Designers – Create artwork and design the pages to help tell the stories
Children and young people do not need to have done anything like this before, and they do not need to have particular skills or experience!
Whether you are shy and quiet or bubbly and chatty, you are welcome to join the team.
For each meeting, your time will be acknowledged with a £30 gift voucher. There will also be opportunities to contribute more in your own time.
