An opportunity for care leavers to become young inspectors.

Young inspectors will inspect and provide feedback on supported accommodation and residential accommodation that is provided to Wirral's children and young people.

What will this involve?

Training and Consultation

All young people will be offered training and the opportunity to develop the process before going out to inspect accommodation options and providing feedback.

Support

Staff will support young inspectors throughout the process and will accompany young people on all accommodation inspection visits.

Recognition and Payment

Following accommodation visits, feedback provided by young inspectors will be carefully considered and acted on accordingly. Payment in vouchers will also be provided throughout the process.
