Who decides what happens to me if I go into foster care?
You will meet with your parents, your foster carer and your social worker to talk about what is best for you. Everyone has to listen to how you are feeling and what you want.
It might feel like other people are deciding what will happen to you, but they are trying to help you. You will go to these meetings and talk about how you feel. If you don’t feel comfortable doing this, talk to your social worker and they will do this for you.
An advocate could also help you. They work for you and will speak on your behalf if you need them to.
